Every summer, Northeast Ohio comes alive with fireworks, parades, festivals, concerts, and community celebrations honoring Independence Day. Whether you're looking for a family-friendly event, a waterfront fireworks show, a small-town parade, or a full weekend of festivities, there are plenty of ways to celebrate around Cleveland. We've rounded up some of the best Fourth of July events in Cleveland and throughout Northeast Ohio to help you plan a memorable holiday weekend.   • Fireworks will be launched from the BHS campus at dusk

Avon Lake's Fireworks - 250th Jubilee - Avon Lake, OH

  • 4:00pm - 9:00pm | Food Trucks

Independence Day Parade, Music & Fireworks - Valley City, OH

Star Spangled Celebration - Cedar Point, Sandusky, OH

Grindstone Festival - Berea, OH

  • Parade at 10am

  • Live at the Lake Concert

  • Fireworks at 10pm

Lakewood Park Fireworks - Lakewood, OH

  • The Lakewood Fourth of July Parade beings 10:00 AM at Kenneth and Lake Avenue and continues east to Lakewood Park. 

  • The fireworks will begin at dusk (approximately 9:45-10:00 PM).

Light up The Lake - Downtown Cleveland

  • Starting at 5pm, enjoy food trucks, games, crafts, and music, and stick around to watch the fireworks be launched from the Port of Cleveland after the sun sets.

Mentor Fireworks- Mentor, OH

  • Enjoy a free concert from at the Mentor Civic Amphitheater on Saturday , July 4, 2026 at 8:00 PM with the LARGEST fireworks display in Mentor’s history to immediately follow.
