Saturday, April 6th & Sunday, April 7th 11am – 11pm Join us on the Solar Express shuttle and travel a loop around Avon Lake visiting retail shops, bars and restaurants.
Saturday, April 6th 8:30pm - 10:00pm Stary Party with Astronomer, Suzie Dills. Free event. Location: Walker Road Park
Sunday, April 7th tie on your fastest running shoes and compete in the Eclipse Chaser 5K or 1 mile walk by Hermes.
Sunday, April 7th Totality Rocks Music Festival immediately following the race awards at Beach Park Station - Stop 65.
Monday, April 8th Avon Lake’s Official Watch Party at the Avon Lake High School Memorial Stadium.
The City of Avon Lake, in partnership with the Avon Lake City Schools, is planning a ticketed event at Avon Lake High School Memorial Stadium on Monday, April 8, 2024 including:
- General Admission to the stadium area
- One pair of eclipse glasses per paid admission
- Live stream of the eclipse broadcast on big screens as it crosses the country
- Experts to help prepare Eclipse watchers for what to expect
- Local Astronomer
- Live Music - Audiophile and Follow the Sun
- Food Trucks & Concessions (subject to change):
