Discover Weekly: TobyRaps

  • B Side Lounge 2785 Euclid Heights Boulevard Cleveland, OH, 44106 United States (map)

From the organizer:

Disconnect from the feed and join us weekly at B Side Lounge for a brand new series. Every Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. we're bringing you a new artist to enjoy and a cause you can get behind! We NEED community and this is a great way to support Greater Cleveland musicians and non-profits who need your ears NOW more than ever.

For this event in the series, TobyRaps is going to save the planet. Find out how you can volunteer with Food Not Bombs, reduce your carbon footprint with Rustbelt Riders, and sign up to be a part of a local CSA (community supported agriculture) through City Fresh!

Food Not Bombs believes that access to food is a human right! They share over 2,000 pounds of food each week, nearly a million to date. You can support their mission by making it possible for them to grow, by renting space to sort produce, cold storage to keep it fresh, and a truck to transport it. You can make a direct donation here: https://square.link/u/YuMBYVE7

Performances in this series are FREE to the public and encourage community outreach and fundraising for the partner non-profits. The series, named Discover Weekly Cleveland, is similar yet different from the Spotify playlists that inspired the name– they are an AI-less, curated experience featuring the best local musicians, once a week. Find your new favorite band and network with impactful organizations all with no commitment; just come and enjoy!

This weekly series is made possible by a generous grant from the Live Music Society. Their mission is to recognize and protect small venues and listening rooms across the United States so that live music can remain accessible to all.
