Jeremy Bendik-keymer, Professor of Philosophy at Case Western Reserve University and author of The Ecological Life: Discovering Citizenship and a Sense of Humanity, will open the program with a talk that speaks to the Festival's 2024 Planet Earth theme. The performance is part of the ENCORE-Gates Mills Music & Ideas Festival, a summer season of arts-inspired learning through chamber music. During the course of the 3-week Festival, ENCORE will host 40+ public events for audiences of all ages in Northeast Ohio. See website for more public performances and educational opportunities.
