MASSIVE HOTDOG RECALL is an 8-piece band from Kent, Ohio, formed in 2016 by a collection of seasoned Gen-X rockers. Fun and entertaining, they've been described as "trashcan horn rock", and "Chicago on meth, with a dusting of DEVO".

Their unique sound features a 5-piece horn section, that matches wits with loud, distorted guitars and a hard-hitting rhythm section. On stage, the horns have a powerful low-end sound, and make sure to stay on their own side of the stage to avoid trombonist & lead singer Al Mothersbaugh (yes, of THOSE Mothersbaughs) as he spins out of control.

Al is kin to Mark and Bob Mothersbaugh of Akron punk rock legends DEVO. 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 band is like if the band from Roadhouse joined forces with that one band that's always playing a party or club in an '80s b-movie, jamming with Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass after too many shots of Jose Cuervo.
