Join us at Rasa Darpana, Reflection of Emotions -- A profound exploration of the human sentiments, through the ancient and celebrated Indian classical dance form "KATHAK". Brought to you by Arts Without Borders, a 501(c)(3) organization, this evening presents an array of dance performances by the dancers of Anga Kala Kathak Academy and Anga Kala Dance Company where every movement, every gesture, and every expression will explore the intricate landscape of the "Navarasas - The Nine Fundamental Human Emotions" as described in the Indian aesthetic theory.
A highlight of the evening will be the reimagining of the timeless story of Cinderella, brought to life through an innovative blend of traditional Kathak and waltz.
