Astronomy has come a long way since the Museum’s Nathan and Fannye Shafran Planetarium opened its doors in 2002. Join Senior Astronomer Nick Anderson for a recap of astronomical progress over the past 22 years, including pivotal moments in spaceflight and scientific discoveries that rocked the world. Anderson will also discuss advancements in planetarium technology during that time and share what the Museum has in store for its latest upgrade under the dome.
