Children’s Hunger Alliance is thrilled to celebrate our partnerships in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio with Side by Side, a fundraiser benefiting area children. Enjoy food and drink pairings while learning how you can join our efforts to provide meals and nutrition education to food-insecure children. There will also be a raffle, silent auction, bourbon pull, CHA bingo game, and more.
Nearly 180,000 children in Northeast Ohio — and over half a million across the state — live with food insecurity, meaning they’re unsure where their next meal will be. Cuyahoga County is one of three Ohio counties with a childhood food insecurity rate above 26%.
Since 1970, CHA has worked to ensure children throughout Ohio have access to the food they need to live a healthy life. All proceeds for Side by Side support CHA’s efforts to break the cycle of childhood hunger and provide food and nutrition education directly to children wherever they are.
