Drama and Delight at the Dawn of Romanticism

  • The Bath Church, UCC 3980 West Bath Road Akron, OH, 44333 United States (map)

From the organizer:

Music lovers at the end of the 18th century spent a lot of time making music with friends. For amateurs, rich patrons, and professionals alike music was a way to get to know new people, spend time with family, solidify business relationships or just have a nice time after dinner. This May, meet new friends, or bring some old ones, when we share chamber music for clarinet and strings by Mozart, Reicha, and Crusell. We're excited to welcome historical clarinetist Dominic Giardino to Cleveland for a unique opportunity to hear this music performed on historical instruments!

Our performers are:
Dominic Giardino, clarinet
Guillermo Salas-Suárez and Phaik Tzhi Chua, violin
Jonathan Goya, viola
Jane Leggiero, cello

Admission free, donations accepted at the door
