2025 Greater Cleveland Sports Commission Summer Golf Classic

Join us for a day of 18 holes in a four-person best-ball scramble with cart featuring beverages, contests & prizes, lunch and a buffet dinner. This fundraiser is hosted by Greater Cleveland Sports Commission's Associate Board. All proceeds benefit our local nonprofit.


Scramble Rules:
FOUR PERSON, BEST BALL FORMAT
- All four players tee off at each hole
- Upon selection of best tee shot, all players are to move their balls within on club length of the best ball, NOT closer to the hole
- All team members than play their next shot from that spot
- Repeat until the ball is holed
- Team score is the total number of strokes it took to complete the hole from the 'best shots'

SCORING
- Each team is responsible for entering an accurate score in the digital scorecard immediately after completing each hole
- The tournament scorecard will be monitored on site, and team will be provided with one (1) warning for failure to input accurate scores; following the first warning, team that do not properly input scores will be ineligible to win the top team prize
- After one hour of play, team that do not input scores for three (3) or more holes will be ineligible to win the top team prizes


Contest Rules:
HIT IT TO WIN IT presented by the Shamrock Companies (Par 3)
- If your tee shot lands safely on the green, you will be entered into a raffle to win a prize courtesy of The Shamrock Companies
- Winner will be drawn during the post-event reception

CLOSEST TO THE PIN presented by the Cleveland Metroparks (Par 3)
- One (1) marker will be placed on the green to record the tee shot which landed closest to the pin; the participant with the closest tee shot at the end of play will receive a prize courtesy of Cleveland Metroparks
- Tee shot must land on the green to be eligible for prizes*

LONGEST DRIVE presented by the Cleveland Metroparks (Par 5)
- Two (2) markers will be placed in the fairway to record the longest drives of Male and Female participants, respectively; the Male and Female participants with the longest drives at the end of play will receive prizes courtesy of Cleveland Metroparks
- Tee shot must land in the fairway to be eligible for prizes*
