Opening of Three New Exhibits at The Sculpture Center

  • The Sculpture Center 12210 Euclid Avenue Cleveland, Ohio, 44106 United States (map)

From the Organizer:

Three concurrent exhibitions opening September 4 at The Sculpture Center bring together three artists whose practices use sculpture to examine systems of structure, perception, and classification, each of whom will exhibit at The Sculpture Center for the first time. Brent Kee Young’s A Concept in Flux: The Matrix Series explores the possibilities of borosilicate glass through interconnected networks of line and light. Max Spitzer’s Pomodoro Variations transforms sculpture into a 5.1-channel sound system, creating a sensory environment shaped by signal, noise, attention, and rest. Emily Culver’s Holotyped considers how bodies are classified and understood through hybrid anatomical forms and reimagined medical instruments. Together, the exhibitions demonstrate the range of contemporary sculpture while reflecting The Sculpture Center’s commitment to supporting artists who challenge how viewers understand materials, objects, and the world around them.
