From the Organizer:
The Empty Pockets celebrate the release of their new album, Dear Billionaires, with a special release night show at Music Box Supper Club on Friday, October 23.
Recorded over two days in Abbey Road Studio 2, Dear Billionaires captures the band playing live together, with drums, bass, electric guitar, Hammond B 2 and piano tracked without instrumental overdubs. The album explores money, class, relationships and the strange realities of trying to build a meaningful life in the modern world.
The Chicago based roots rock band has earned two #1 Billboard Blues Albums and spent years touring internationally as Al Stewart’s backing band.
This Cleveland performance takes place on the very day Dear Billionaires is released, making Music Box one of the first places anywhere to hear the new album performed live.
