Newborn/Baby Friendly Spots

We just had our daughter in February and we’ve been having fun getting out and exploring the town with her! I put together a list of some of the spots we’ve visited that we’ve found accommodating and/or receptive to us bringing in a newborn. I totally understand there are plenty more kid friendly places around town, but this is just a list of MY favorites so far!

Restaurants:

  • Noble Beast - we’ve visited for both weekday and weekend lunches, but the weekend does tend to be a bit louder

  • Brewdog - visited for afternoon beers and dinner, definitely suggest making a reservation and requesting a booth - they fit cart seats well

  • Great Lakes Brewing Co. - went for a weekday lunch and brought the stroller which worked for the hightops in the bar

  • Char - make a reservation and go before 6:30pm when they start to pickup, best for car seat only

  • Forage - easily fits a stroller, great for lunch or early dinner

  • Good Company - it’s a bit louder inside but they are super kid friendly and we love their bathroom changing table haha

Drinks:

  • Tapster - so kid-friendly, we’ve only been during the week, not sure of the noise level, easy with a stroller

  • Flight Cleveland - go right when they open on the weekend, gets loud as business picks up

  • Lakewood Truck Park - super kid friendly as well, it gets busy on nice days but its easy to keep to yourself with a table

Coffee and Bakery Spots:

  • Phoenix Lakewood - smaller set-up, better on off hours and/or weekdays, great for to-go as parking is easy

  • Floressa Cafe - smaller set-up, better on off hours and/or weekdays, great for to-go as parking is easy

  • Rising Star - on lee, in the Van Aken Market Hall and in Lakewood

  • Luna Bakery & Cafe - all their locations make for an excellent place to cozy up with babe, Cleveland Heights is great for to-go as parking is easy

Spots that aren’t dining/drinking/coffee:
